Visa D and residence permit in Serbia through your company

We prepare and file your business-based Visa D and temporary residence permit, and your family's, so you can live and work in Serbia legally.

How residence through a company works

  1. Company registration, by power of attorney, about 5 working days (details).
  2. Visa D application at the Serbian embassy in your country of residence. We prepare the full file. Processing is usually 30–45 days.
  3. Arrival and residence application. You enter Serbia on Visa D and we file your temporary residence application, usually 30–45 days.
  4. Residence card. You receive your residence permit and can then access resident banking and request tax residency.

What changed in 2024

Amendments to Serbia's Law on Foreigners and Law on Employment of Foreigners, applied mostly from February 2024, introduced a single permit for residence and work, allowed temporary residence for up to three years instead of one, and shortened the path to permanent residence to three years of continuous stay.
