Your trips to Serbia
One line per stay. Leave the exit date empty if you are in Serbia now, or for a trip you are planning.
Your dates are saved only in this browser, so they are here when you come back.
Want to stay longer than the rule allows? The legal way is temporary residence, most often through your own Serbian company. Send us your numbers and we will tell you what fits.
Ask our lawyer on WhatsAppHow the count works
A rolling window
The 90 days are counted in any 180-day period, looking back from each day you are here. It is not per calendar quarter and it does not reset when you leave and come back.
Entry and exit days count
The day you arrive and the day you leave both count as days in Serbia. A weekend trip from Friday to Sunday uses three days.
Residence stops the clock
Once you hold temporary residence, the visa-free count no longer applies to you. That is why people who want to live here apply early.
Do border runs reset the 90 days?
No. Leaving for a day does not reset anything. The window keeps looking back 180 days, so the days you already spent stay in the count until they fall out of the window.
I have a Russian passport. How is my stay counted?
With an ordinary Russian passport you can stay up to 30 days per visit without a visa. Choose the 30-day option above. If you plan to live in Serbia, start the residence paperwork early, because 30 days goes fast.
Does 183 days automatically make me a Serbian tax resident?
Spending 183 days or more in Serbia in a 12-month period makes you a resident under Serbian law. You can also be resident with fewer days if your home and the centre of your business and personal life are here. Your old country has its own rules, so check them with your adviser there.
Is this calculator legal advice?
No. It counts days from the dates you enter. The border police decide at the border, and the rules depend on your passport. Check the current rule for your country on the website of the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Tell us what you are planning
A few lines are enough. Every message is read by our lawyer, and the first written reply is free.
- You send the form. WhatsApp opens with your message already written. This website stores nothing.
- We reply, usually the same business day. If something is missing we ask four things: citizenship, where you live and pay tax now, what the business or income is, and when you want to start.
- You get a written plan with fixed fees before any work begins. If we think a bank is unlikely to say yes, or Serbia is the wrong choice for you, you hear it then.
