Who we are

SerbiaGate is the name under which I help foreigners register a company in Serbia, open bank accounts and get residence. Behind it is my law office in Belgrade. I have been a practising lawyer since 2012, and most of my clients are people who live outside Serbia.

When you write to us, I read the message, I prepare the documents and I sign them. There is no call centre and no chain of agents in between.

Check us before you pay

Many people who write to us have heard stories about fake agents and fake job offers. Asking for proof is the right thing to do. Here is how you can check:

  • Belgrade Bar Association. Every lawyer in Belgrade must be registered with the Bar. Search for Srđan Bogićević (the Serbian spelling of my name) in their public list of lawyers at akb.org.rs.
  • The office. We work from an office in Belgrade. If you are here, you can come by with an appointment.
  • A signed agreement. Before you pay anything, you get the scope, the fee and the time frames in writing, signed and stamped.

How payment works

  • We send you an invoice in the lawyer's name, with the amount and what it covers.
  • You pay only to the lawyer's business bank account in Serbia. The bank details are on the invoice.
  • We never ask you to send money to an agent or a middleman. Every payment is a bank transfer, and only after you receive the engagement agreement and the invoice.
  • For every state fee, notary fee or translation we pay on your behalf, you get the receipt.

How we work

  • You don't have to travel. Company registration is done by power of attorney: you sign it at a notary at home, add the apostille, and send the original to us.
  • We tell you the full cost first. Our fee and the state fees, in writing, before you pay.
  • The authorities decide. Visas and residence permits are decided by the embassy and the police, and bank accounts by the bank. We prepare and file everything correctly, but we don't promise outcomes that are not ours to give.
  • The first written reply is free, in writing on WhatsApp or by email.

Write to us on WhatsApp at +381 65 678 4991 or by email at info@serbiagate.com, Monday to Friday.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know you are a real law office?

Look up Srđan Bogićević (Serbian spelling of Srdjan Bogicevic) in the public directory of lawyers of the Belgrade Bar Association (akb.org.rs). Only licensed lawyers are listed there. Before you pay, you get a signed agreement and an invoice in his name, and you can visit the office in Belgrade by appointment when you are here.

Who will actually work on my case?

Srdjan Bogicevic, the lawyer who runs SerbiaGate. He reads your messages, signs the documents and files them. You talk to the same person from the first message to the end.

Where does my payment go?

Only to the business bank account of the lawyer, against an invoice issued in the lawyer's name. We never ask you to pay an agent or a middleman. Every payment is a bank transfer, and only after you receive the engagement agreement and the invoice.

Do I get receipts for the state fees?

Yes. For every fee we pay on your behalf, such as the registration fee, notary or translation, you get the receipt.

Tell us what you are planning

A few lines are enough. Every message is read by our lawyer, and the first written reply is free.

  1. You send the form. WhatsApp opens with your message already written. This website stores nothing.
  2. We reply, usually the same business day. If something is missing we ask four things: citizenship, where you live and pay tax now, what the business or income is, and when you want to start.
  3. You get a written plan with fixed fees before any work begins. If we think a bank is unlikely to say yes, or Serbia is the wrong choice for you, you hear it then.
