How we work, and how you know your money is safe
Most people who write to us have heard of fake agents and fake job offers. So here is exactly what happens before you pay, how you pay, and what happens if something doesn't go to plan.

Before you pay anything
- A free written answerYou describe your case on WhatsApp or by email. Our lawyer answers in writing, usually the same business day, and tells you honestly if Serbia is not the right fit.
- A written plan with a fixed feeWhat we do, in which order, how long it takes, and every cost: our fee, state fees, notary and translation. The fee doesn't change after you accept it.
- An engagement agreement and an invoiceYou sign the agreement before you pay. It is signed and stamped by the attorney and says what is included, the time frames and the refund rules.
- You pay by bank transferTo the attorney's business account at a bank in Serbia, against the invoice. You send us the payment confirmation.
- Work starts the same dayFor a company, you get the power of attorney within one working day of the payment.

Your money
One account, one name
All fees are paid by bank transfer to the attorney's business account in Serbia, against an invoice in his name. Nobody from SerbiaGate will ask you to pay a personal account or an agent.
A receipt for every fee we pay for you
State fees, notary and sworn translation are paid at cost. You get the receipt for each of them.
No hidden extras
If something costs money, it is in the written plan. If your case changes, we tell you before any new cost, never after.
Payment in steps
For company, visa and residence you don't pay everything upfront. You pay for the first step, then the next one when we get there.
If something doesn't go to plan
The bank says no
We apply at a second bank at no extra fee. Banks decide on their own, and with some passports they ask more questions, so we prepare the file for that from the start.
The company can't be registered
If it fails for a reason that is not on your side, our fee is refunded in full, within 15 days.
You change your mind
If you stop after work has started, the part of the fee we haven't used comes back to you. State, notary and translation fees already paid can't be returned, but you have the receipts.
What nobody can promise
APR, the embassy, the police and the bank make the decisions. Anyone who guarantees a visa or an account is guessing. We promise correct, complete and fast filing.
While we work on your case
One lawyer, from the first message to the residence card
You don't get passed between agents. The same lawyer reads your messages and files your documents.
Updates in writing
At least every 14 days while your case is open, and right away when something changes or when we need something from you.
What you receive at the end
For a company: the APR registration decision, the company number and tax ID, and the founding documents, as scans and in original on request.
Confidentiality
Our lawyer is bound by professional secrecy. Your passport and documents are used only for your case.
Check us before you pay
- Search for our lawyer in the public directory of the Belgrade Bar Association at akb.org.rs. His name is on our About page.
- Ask for the signed agreement and the invoice before you pay. Both are in the lawyer's name.
- Visit the office in Belgrade, by appointment.
- Check that the invoice and the account are in the attorney's name, and nobody else's.

Questions about trust
Why should I pay before the work starts?
Because the first step starts right away: we prepare the power of attorney and file with APR. You pay only for that step, against a signed agreement with clear refund rules.
Can I pay in cash or by crypto?
No. Payment is by bank transfer to the attorney's business account only, so you always have a bank record and an invoice.
What if I don't hear from you?
You will get an update at least every 14 days. If you write and don't get an answer within one business day, write on WhatsApp again, a message can get lost but we don't ignore clients.
Do you guarantee the bank account?
No, and nobody honest can. If the first bank refuses, we apply at a second bank at no extra fee.
Tell us what you are planning
A few lines are enough. Every message is read by our lawyer, and the first written reply is free.
- You send the form. WhatsApp opens with your message already written. This website stores nothing.
- We reply, usually the same business day. If something is missing we ask four things: citizenship, where you live and pay tax now, what the business or income is, and when you want to start.
- You get a written plan with fixed fees before any work begins. If we think a bank is unlikely to say yes, or Serbia is the wrong choice for you, you hear it then.
